Welcome to a quick training guide our new feature - Templates for SMS Messaging - now available in Kontak Retriever. Templates are designed to simplify your customer messaging tasks and enhance your overall experience. Let’s see them in action.
Once you log into your Retriever CSR window, you'll find the SMS messages panel conveniently located on the right-hand side. By default, it is collapsed, but you can expand it using the button to access more details. When you click on any conversation, it will open in a new popup window, allowing you to view the entire exchange history with the customer.
Notice the addition of a "+" icon next to the message field. Clicking on it will reveal the "template" option. This is where you can create message templates tailored to your needs. While no templates come pre-loaded, you have the freedom to create as many as you'd like, utilizing the available tags.
Let's create a sample template together. Begin by clicking on the "Create new template" button:
Use the message preview box to verify if the tags are correctly displayed and if the message appears as intended.
Provide a name for this template, and when you're ready, simply click the save button. Your template will now be visible in the templates list, and you can easily search for a specific template using the search bar.
We believe this new feature will significantly streamline your client communications, providing a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
